The Bird Of Paradise Folding Instructions
- Lay both pocket squares down on a flat surface and smooth them out.
- Fold both in half lengthwise to make two rectangles.
- Fold both rectangles in half to form two squares.
- Place one pocket square on the other with the open corners facing in the same direction.
- Fold both squares in half to make one single triangle.
- Form a pleat by folding the top pocket square up, then one layer of the other pocket square. Next, fold both back down.
- Turn the pocket square around and repeat step 6 on the other side.
- Grab the rubber band.
- Fold up to form the base and tightly wrap it around the lower part of the fold.
- Now fan out each of the pocket square ‘leaves’.
- Finally, tuck it into your jacket pocket.
